To celebrate Rita and James Wiese's passion of creative and dynamic worship where scripture comes alive through music.

The Wiese Family Youth Scholarship for Church Music was created by Rita and James Wiese to celebrate their passion for creative and dynamic worship where scripture comes alive through music. The intent of this fund is to support and inspire pre-college-age students who show potential and interest in music for worship. While styles change over time, the desire of this fund is to encourage acoustic church music — such as organ, choral and solo voice, band and orchestra, and piano — for young people who seek to make music to the glory of God.

If you prefer, you may also make checks payable to the Lutheran Community Foundation, and send to 625 4th Ave. S., Ste. 1500, Minneapolis, MN 55415, with "The Wiese Family Youth Scholarship for Church Music" written in the note portion of the check.
