I am competing in About Town Magazine's "Who's Helping Who?" fundraiser from Nov. 5th until Dec. 31st by raising money for UCP.
I will be fundraising for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham during About Town Magazine’s “Who’s Helping Who?” competition being held from Nov. 5th through Dec. 31st. As a law student, I would like to give back and focus on supporting and advocating for people with disabilities in Alabama, and I am proud to help UCP as they serve people of any age as well as a variety of disabilities, not just cerebral palsy.
Born with cerebral palsy, I have been a patient of Dr. Charlie Law for more than 16 years and I have experienced first-hand the great work he does for children and adults with disabilities with a variety of disabilities all across Alabama. Dr. Law goes out of his way to help patients with all aspects of managing disabilities. At UCP’s Life Without Limits Clinic, he is able to help both children and adults with disabilities and treat them from birth all of the way into adulthood, providing long-term medical care. Our support of Dr. Law’s clinic will allow him to support more people with disabilities and their families across the southeast and help them meet goals and overcome obstacles along the way.
Your gift will continue to help UCP in its mission to provide more care and services to the incredible families that Dr. Law and his staff serve. I appreciate your support to an organization that I’m passionate about and that continues to grow and change the way people with disabilities live their lives!
