Wesley Housing provides permanent, affordable housing and support services to individuals, children, and families at risk of homelessness.
Wesley Housing - Celebrating 40 Years of Helping Families Break The Cycle of Poverty!
- Marking four decades of service in 2014, Wesley Housing has given homes to over 25,000 at-risk individuals and currently provides affordable homes and supportive services at 20 communities in Northern Virginia--City of Alexandria, Fairfax County/Falls Church, the City of Manassas, and Arlington County.
- Our service-enriched housing program combines affordable, permanent rental housing with supportive services to build strong families and communities. We combine housing with on-site services at four Community Resource Centers and four Resident Services Centers.
- Through our very successful Housing Stability Initiative, we are lowering evictions through early intervention and preventing homelessness by stabilizing family living situations. This impactful program—counseling, crisis intervention, budget planning, referrals, computer training, job search assistance, and other employment tools—provides our residents with the skills to become self-sufficient.
- We are giving stable homes to greater numbers of our at-risk neighbors by developing and preserving more affordable ommunities. Our most advanced project at Pierce Queen Apartments in Arlington will add 76 units of affordable housing, including critically needed family-sized units.
Please join with us to help individuals at risk of homelessness in Northern Virginia for another 40 more years.
