Wendy's Thanksgiving Trip to Honduras

During Spring Break 2010, I had the privilege and opportunity to serve on a mission team in Puerto Lempira, Honduras. Next Thanksgiving I am hoping to travel to Honduras to work with Reach Out Honduras, a nonprofit organization which works to meet the needs of 3 different orphanages in the area. Being in Puerto Lempira and meeting the children was a life-changing experience.

My main focus will be to work with students teaching them English. I am looking for donations of books in Spanish and English to help with my teaching. I would also like to spend time with more of the children one-on-one by taking them into town for a Coke or special treat. I want them to see the love of Jesus through me.

This trip will not be possible without the help of generous friends and family who will partner with me to bring the good news to these children. Please consider getting involved by praying, donating baby formula and other needed items, or giving at one of several financial levels. All financial donations are 100% tax-deductible. There are no administrative or other types of fees taken out.
