A interactive media tool to identify and mobilize people who care in our communities to reach youth. www.wecarenetwork.net
The WeCareNetwork brings together youth, youth workers, and concerned adults at very critical time in ministry to youth. Schools or campuses have become a central hub of teenagers’ lives and define their academic, social, and cultural experiences. Additionally, today’s youth have experienced the largest explosion of knowledge in history, due to the ubiquitous nature of internet access. Teenagers spend countless hours “socializing” online, an activity that also lends definition to their individuality.
The WeCareNetwork’s goal is to provide guidance to youth at this critical juncture by facilitating social interaction with appropriate role models from their campus, youth leaders from their church and concerned adults from their community who care about the mission to reach and mentor youth for Christ. The use of a social networking paradigm lends familiarity to the tool, inviting participation among youth.
Who we serve
Youth are teenagers in middle, junior or senior high school who are connected to a church, school or community.
Youth Workers are people who are committed to seeing a generation of students trained, equipped and released to impact their world for the cause of Christ.
Concerned Adults are parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, administrators, school staff, business people, or intercessors who care about reaching and mentoring the next generation.
