The Washington Literacy Center serves District adults who have the most limited reading skills and greatest employment needs.

Today in the District of Columbia, 90,000 adults cannot read well enough to use a bus schedule, apply for a job online, or further their education. The Washington Literacy Center provides a re-entry into education, working with adults to improve their basic reading skills and comprehension. Your $10 donation will support adults committed to improving their reading and their future.

Please join the Washington Literacy Center in our efforts to raise the literacy level of adults in Washington, D.C. such that they may function on the job, in the family and in society.
