Vietnam Student Development Fund (VNSDF)

The mission of Hope For Tomorrow is to provide health care, human services and educational assistance to underprivileged communities. With respect to education, Hope For Tomorrow is collaborating with the Vietnam Student Development Fund (VNSDF) to help provide educational scholarships to qualified students who are facing financial difficulties.

The Vietnam Student Development Fund (VNSDF) was founded by a group of Vietnamese professionals living in Vietnam and abroad. The young professionals meet each other while volunteering for various humanitarian endeavors in Vietnam. Through the years, the group realized a greater impact can be achieve by helping to nurture and grow the next generation of young Vietnamese professionals through education. From the experience of volunteering and giving back to the community, the young professionals came up with the concept of “Growth Through Education”.

Growth through Education

The “Growth through Education” campaign strives to provide academic scholarship to qualified students based on the following criteria: 1. Financial needs, 2. Academic merits, 3. Social engagements, 4. Leadership potentials, and 5. Contribution to the betterment of their local community. Each year, the students are required to apply for the scholarships. All current scholarship recipients are required to maintain good academic standings and continue involvements with their communities. All scholarship recipients will be paired with a mentor based on their academic pursuits. The mentor relationship is a good way to help the students further their academic endeavors while learning from a young professional who is working and contributing to their community.

With your financial contributions, we can achieve the following:

$250 contribution will provide 1 year of education for a college student.

$100 contribution will provide basic living expenses for a college student for 1 month

$50 contribution will allow a student to purchase books for 1 academic year.
