Volunteer Lawyers Network

By connecting clients in need with volunteer lawyers, we prevent unlawful harm in our community and stop abuse, harassment, and injustice. Last year, our 1,100 volunteers changed more than 20,000 lives.

Laws protect basic human rights but, without a lawyer, one can be deprived of those protections. People like Geoff, who was sued for a debt he didn't owe and almost became homeless as a result. Or Danika, who worked for two weeks but didn't get paid. Or Jesse, who returned from Iraq only to be locked out of his own home by his "friend."

With your support, we can help more people like Collette, who said:

Since 1966, thousands in our community like Geoff, Danika, Jesse, and Collette have come to VLN. In helping to secure their basic human rights, our legal response team provides safety, stability and the opportunity to thrive.
