Your support toward our goal helped underprivileged students secure $244,000 in financial aid for college and made their dreams come true

I bow before the generosity of our donors who raised $4,050 for underprivileged students and secured approximately $247,000 for their college education through an amazing charity organization called ACCESS. Your support has been truly overwhelming, thank you so much!

------------------------------------

I have joined TEAM ACCESS in their cause to easing the onerous financial aid process that keeps many underprivileged students from starting and completing college. I believe in ACCESS' model as it is an organization that truly cares and is good at what it does--more than 4,000 students in Boston and Springfield will be served this year and ACCESS will manage to leverage every $1 donated into $61 of financial aid for them.

As a recent Harvard Law School graduate, I wanted to show my gratitude to the greater Boston community and give something back. I have chosen ACCESS as I strongly believe education is the foundation of greater opportunities for youth and a stronger society for everyone. Being born and raised in Slovenia, in a country where all levels of education are free, I have fostered a notion that all young people should have equal access to education.

ACCESS works with students and their families from middle school to high school through college graduation, ensuring that finances never get in the way of potential. ACCESS has helped students secure more than $150 million in financial aid in the last three years alone and has awarded more than $5 million in need-based last dollar scholarships since their founding.

I will run so that each student in the greater Boston area may achieve their goal of a college education and meet their intellectual potential. Please join me in helping underprivileged students overcome the financial barriers to higher education.

Thank you for your support!

In elementary school we had to raise money for a Jog-a-Thon. I asked my great uncle and explained that we were raising money by running laps. He got very concerned and said, "What's wrong with you? I'll give you the money! Don't run!" To you, I say the same. But really, thanks for the inspiration!
