Valley Outreach is a bridge between the crisis of the moment and the solution of the future.
We serve our St. Croix Valley neighbors by providing food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, providing education and support services, while respecting individual dignity and offering encouragement and hope, and connections to support services that will help them get from where they are to where they want to be.
Mary and Jim, along with their son and pregnant young adult daughter, are an example of the clients we serve. Mary and Jim are extremely hard workers, both waking early each and every day to deliver papers. Their aging truck is the essential component to keeping them employed, so when their truck needed repairs they knew they had no choice but to fix it. However, the funds for the repairs depleted their resources for the month. They had to decide – pay the rent and lose their means of employment, or fix the truck and defer the rent. Deciding on repairs for the truck, they were soon faced with eviction. Being extremely proud, they turned to Valley Outreach’s Emergency Fund to pay a portion of the rent and late fees, and are working to make up the rest themselves.
It is only with your help that we can continue to assist our St. Croix Valley neighbors in need as they navigate the crisis of the moment. Be it food, clothing or emergency financial assistance, Valley Outreach is there to help.
