UCPWA serves the community by providing a full array of beneficial services and resources to individuals with disabilities and families.

My name is Brenda Ewart and I have been in the Social Services field for over 15yrs. I began my career as a Social Worker and I am now blessed to be the Development Director of United Cerebral Palsy Of West Alabama. Our agency has struggled with donations since the tragedy that occurred on April 27, 2011. We were thankfully spared of any physical damages and operated for months as a drop off center gathering and distributing items for our community but it is very difficult to ask for donations when so many are hurting. We are very excited to see our community rebuild and come back stronger and look forward to the innagural Alabama Gives Day on Feb 2,2012. Our wish is for ALL Alabama Non-profits to be successful on this day!

A small contribution, that arrives with the hope that we all remember to hold dear our friends of old, and, our friends we’ve yet to meet.

UCPWA has certainly been a blessing to me and my daughter. We could not do what we have without the support of UCPWA. They do a great job and it is greatly appreciated.
