UGANDA 2011

I'm headed back to Uganda to serve the dear people of Kiburara and I'd appreciate your support!

In January 2009 I was part of a team like no other I had experienced. We travelled for nearly a day and a half to reach the village of Kiburara in the lush Western hills of Uganda.

I saw firsthand where three wells poured forth clean cool water. A year before the people of this village relied on watering holes, which left them susceptible to water-borne diseases. Since that time three more wells have been built bringing clean water to thousands.

Bibles are in the hands of local pastors who seek to serve and care for their congregations. Congregations that are growing rapidly even now.

In January 2011, I plan to return to what one of the locals affectionately referred to as my "home". I'll be reunited with dear friends but I'll also take part in the rebuilding of widow's homes and support the local church as they host regional youth and pastors conferences. I may even take part in a Uganda v. USA Football (Soccer) Match!!
