The TwinWest Foundation serves the Twin Cities west metro suburbs by providing highly sought after High School & Career Path scholarships.
Reaching Beyond the Recipient... Scholarships are a powerful investment. Students become teachers, doctors, and small business owners – active and positive members of the community. Through a Foundation donation, you will change one life directly and thousands more indirectly. College tuition costs are soaring and students, now more than ever, need help in achieving their educational dreams. “During these tough economic times budgets are very tight. It's important to make sure that we direct our resourses to programs and initiatives that will have a lasting and profound impact in the community.” - Connie Bakken, Citizens Independent Bank, TwinWest Foundation Designated Donor
Offering More than a Check... A scholarship is much more than financial assistance. It’s a tangible endorsement, a nod of approval, and a belief in the next generation of leadership. Now more than ever, students are seeking assistance to make their educational dreams a reality.
High School Scholarship Program... Each year TwinWest Foundation scholarships are granted to graduating high school students from TwinWest member school districts and private schools. Students are evaluated based on their academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service, work history, and financial need. Typical college scholarships range from $500 to $1,500. The Foundation’s Legacy Scholarship, ranging from $5,000 to $7,500, is awarded each year to one outstanding high school senior who exemplifies positive leadership attributes and is a well-rounded student role model.
Career Path Scholarship Program... The TwinWest Foundation Career Path Scholarship Program is targeted to adult students who are enrolled in TwinWest member post secondary schools. This program is designed to help working adults advance their careers, continue their education, and further strengthen their workforce and leadership skills. The typical scholarship award is in the amount of $500 to $1,000 per student.
