Twin Cities Regional Science Fair is an all volunteer organization. All donations go directly to encouragement awards and cost of the event.
Because we are an all volunteer organization and because we do so much to further the education of students (STEM emphasis), donating to Twin Cities Regional Science Fairs (TCRSF) is one of the best values for your donation dollars!
Through science fair, students cross-train academically to develop critical thinking and presentation skills. All students benefit from the project skills learned in doing a science project regardless of their interests. When students become better thinkers and communicators, we all benefit in society.
The Twin Cities Regional Science Fair (TCRSF) exists solely for the betterment of youth in the Twin Cities area. Our mission is to provide opportunities for interaction with professionals, discussion of project goals, presentation of ideas, and project analysis for all youth in the Twin Cities area. We strongly support under-represented groups with financial assistance, mentor involvement, and project guidance. We strive to motivate, encourage, and support all efforts by a philosophy of, "Everyone who tries is a winner." Students who attend school (public, private, charter, home school) in Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, and Dakota Counties who are in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in the project competition and/or the research paper competition. The Twin Cities Regional Science Fair sends winning students from grades 7-12 on to the Minnesota State Science Fair as well as to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) (grades 9-12 only) and ISWEEEP (another international competition). The top 10% of students in grades 6-8 are sent on to the national Broadcom MASTERS Middle School competition through the Society for Science and the Public.
