Thank you so much for supporting your friend/family member as they run the Long Grove Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day!!!

Thanks for taking a moment to check this out.
Recently I have praying a very dangerous prayer, God break my heart for what breaks your...
That lead me on journey to discover a very seedy, disgusting, rampantly growing, crime that is happening all over this world. I’m talking about Human Trafficking and Modern Day slavery. In spite of the fact slavery is illegal in every country all over this world, it is the second largest criminal enterprise, just behind the drug trade. It’s estimated that over 27 million people are currently in the bondage of slavery. There are more people in slavery today than taken from Africa in the 300 year of the transatlantic slave trade. Currently 50% of trafficking victims are minors…they are children!!!! The average age for a victim to be forced to enter the world of forced prostitution or sexual exploitation is 12 years old. No child deserves to have their life destroyed in this way!!
I have been reading books, going to meetings, talking with people, about this horrible epidemic. Through that I received an invitation to go with an organization called Bright Hope (based in Hoffman Estates) to India, where over 2 years ago a CNN report estimated that there were over 1.2 million children who were involved in forced prostitution. And that’s not counting the millions more in other forms of forced labor. Part of our trip will be spent working with a couple of ministries who are trying to fight this epidemic and provide support to the victims. I will be gone Jan 26 - Feb 4 and spending time in the cities of New Delhi, Lucknow, & Varanasi Thank you for your support!!
