Donations will allow Hmong Cultural Center to provide transportation services for the refugee students enrolled in its Citizenship Program.

Many of the older Hmong refugee adults with a desire to enroll in Hmong Cultural Center's Citizenship Program do not have access to personal transportation. Hmong Cultural Center has helped hundreds of Hmong refugee adults become U.S. Citizens over the past decade. Many Hmong refugees who arrived in Minnesota from Wat Tham Krabok in Thailand between 2004 and 2006 are now enrolling in the center's Citizenship classes. By providing daily van transportation to and from the program, Hmong Cultural Center will be able to reach many more Hmong refugee adults who would like to study to take the test to become U.S. Citizens.
