Installing solar with GRID Alternatives is an opportunity to really make a difference in a community while participating in an activity that brings many types of people together and benefits all. GRID Alternatives hosts a massive solar block party where community volunteers and homeowners work together to solarize an entire neighborhood. Working side by side with homeowners, knowing that not only will they see the economic benefits, but that everyone will gain from the environmental benefits makes this cause one of the most personally meaningful opportunities that I have had to give something back and to connect with others. Please support my fundraising efforts so that I can get a head start on contributing to the 2010 Solarthon block party event. This event will be held in July of 2010.
