Cats, cats, everywhere!

  • Ferals soaking up the winter sun, atop their insulated house. They have each other to warm them through the night.
  • Rescued one January from severe cold and starvation, she rallied and seemed well, but succumbed a few months later.
  • Young mom and newborns found in garage when it was -15. She kept her babies warm and fed; all survived and thrived!
  • Feral colony, if provided good shelters, food, and water, can endure and enjoy the sun and snow. Or climb a tree!
  • Hypothermic kitty found shivering outdoors 1/1/11. Tail and leg injuries from resting on warm car engine that started.
  • A sweet little valentine who showed up one February
  • How many winter strays can you see?
  • This poor, bedraggled girl lost part of her ear to the cold, but found a loving home!
  • Feral kittens relax with a big poppa cat rescued from impound.
  • This very sick stray wasn't with us long, but received wonderful care and died in loving arms.
  • Rescued from outside in January, the vet worked 3 solid hours on this little train wreck. He recovered and was adopted!
  • A "managed" feral sitting in an empty, heated birdbath. This colony has daily care to support their outdoor life.
  • Some of the many wonderful cats we've loved and fostered

Four years of foreclosure crisis and bad economy, and there are more pet cats abandoned outside than ever before. There just aren't enough spaces in rescues and shelters to handle the need.

Help us get what cats we can out of the cold and into rescue, and provide the essentials (vet care, spay/neuter, shelter, food, and water) for them and the cats who'll have to remain outside for a time.

We just have to get them through until Spring!
