Tori's Vegas Gecko Skydive (3rd Global Gecko Skydive)

APRIL 2ND 2011 ADELAIDE, SYDNEY, MELBOURNE, PERTH, DUBAI AND LAS VEGAS, BABY:

Six groups of friends...one in Adelaide, one in Sydney, one in Melbourne, one in Perth, one in Dubai and one in Las Vegas are ready to continue the journey. All crazy enough to jump out of a plane and go sky diving on the exact same day in support of these wonderful children, the Green Geckos in Cambodia! All this following in the footsteps of successful Gecko Skydives in Manhattan, Toronto and Dubai to date!

I think you all know by now, but after meeting, working with and spending lots of time with the fabulous Green Gecko children in Cambodia on several occasions, this will be my 3rd skydive I've organised for the Geckos. All former street children, these kids have been given a wonderful opportunity in life to have a chance of a childhood, a chance to dream, a chance to succeed and they're going for it.

I'll be skydiving in Vegas but I've called on all my global friends who have jumped to the challenge...an invisible bridge joining SYDNEY to MELBOURNE to ADELAIDE to PERTH to DUBAI to LAS VEGAS to CAMBODIA. Woo hoo, can't wait! As I skydive in Las Vegas I'll be able to see the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, the Las Vegas Strip and Casinos, Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston and the Colorado River! My dad will be skydiving in Dubai and my cousin and her husband in Adelaide, and a friend in every other town the same day! COME AND JOIN ME IF YOU'RE UP FOR THE CHALLENGE!!

And every penny, cent, dime of course goes directly to the children. It's the very least I can do for such amazing, gregarious, bright and shining kids. They're amazing and they're worth it.

My very first skydive was in Manhattan when 23 friends across Manhattan and Toronto joined me in my moment of madness and we were all first time skydivers raising US$19,000. My second skydive was in Dubai when 11 friends cruised in with me over Palm Island and The World and we raised US$5,000. Let's see if this truly Global Gecko Skydive can beat all of that.
