TOONSEUM

The mission of the ToonSeum is to celebrate the art of cartooning. Our goal is to promote a deeper appreciation of the cartoonists and their work through hands-on workshops, community outreach, cartoon-oriented educational programming, and exhibitions of original cartoon art.

The ToonSeum was founded as a non-profit museum in 2007 by cartoonist Joe Wos. in 2010 the ToonSeum relocated from it's location in the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh to an independant location in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.

The ToonSeum presents new exhibitions every few months. Featuring comic strips, comic books, animation, gaming and much more.

The ToonSeum also present popular public programs, lectures, conventions and much more!
