Help build Tony, the 11-year old tiger at the Tiger Truck Stop in Gross Tete, LA, an new compound to live out his life in private and peace
As we all have heard, the world has been rallying to have Tony the Tiger removed from the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete, LA. Well, it appears the courts just may make Tony move out of the State of Louisiana.
Mike Sandlin, owner of the Tiger Truck Stop, has agreed to move Tony to the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma, a 501c3 non-profit organization and one of the largest facilities in the world for big cats housing more than 200 tigers and lions. The park agreed with Mr. Sandlin that we needed to start raising money to build a state-of-the-art compound in the back of the park where he would not be on display, change his name, for public reasons, so he would no longer be exploited for anymore profiting, and not breed Tony for any reason. Mr. Sandlin and the park's only concern is that Tony live out his life in peace and comfort, out of the public eye.
Now is the time to see just how much the public and movie stars really care about Tony and his life away from the truck stop. We need to raise $120,000.00 to build a 100’ x 100’ compound complete with a swimming pool, water fall, and log cabin solely for Tony. This would give Tony of large compound of 10,000.00 square feet. No other tiger in any sanctuary would be living that nice.
Time is running out as the last appeal Mr. Sandlin has will be coming up soon and we would love to have Tony's new home complete and ready at the time Tony would need to be moved.
Now is the time to see this through and help Tony find his perfect place to live in peace by donating to his compound fund today.
