Help me provide food and seed corn to the flood victims of Milago de Dios in Guatemala. $100 will bless one family for the next year.

I have been on 4 mission trips to Guatemala. On 2 of these trips I spent time with the people of Milagro de Dios (Miracle of God) Church in Las Rosas. These warm, generous people welcomed me into their homes for meals and I worshipped with them in their new church building in May 2011. Their entire corn and bean crop were destroyed in flooding from the October 2011 rain storms.

My hope is to provide food for the winter and seeds for next year's spring planting to my friends at Milagro de Dios. Together we can be God's miracle to these people.

So, I am asking for your help. I know you all want to know what I want for Christmas (lol). Here it is! The best Christmas present I could receive would be a donation to buy food and seeds. Remember a gift of $100 will provide seeds and food for one family. Your gift will go to the Saint Paul Area Synod of the ELCA who will send 100% of your gift to Guatemala to buy food and seeds for my friends.

    We have seen how little these families have and how generous they are with what they have. "Now we know that we are not alone," they told us last May when we visited.

    Feeding hungry people is just the right thing to do. Milagro de Dios means Miracle of God. These people need a miracle. You can be their miracle.
