While traveling through Cambodia this past summer, I was fortunate to have randomly met the co-owner of Goodwill, Joseph Morgan. I knew I wanted to do something to help while traveling abroad, but, I didn’t know how. Joseph, through his work with Goodwill Globetrotting, gave me the chance to donate 17 pairs of flip flops to a local orphanage that desperately needed shoes. I was blown away that spending $25 could help prevent a group of children, who have absolutely nothing not even a pair of shoes, from getting Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. I soon learned that I had stumbled upon a truly inspirational individual who strives to change the world, one small step at a time. Goodwill Globetrotting partners with non-profits all over the world to help them reach their goals, by recruiting volunteers, hosting fundraisers, and collecting donations and material necessities. The love, support, and acts of kindness that Goodwill Globetrotting spreads to individuals in need around the world is truly a cause worth supporting. Dearest friends and family, please help this organization keep doing what they’re doing. Of the gifts that are given this season, I promise that this will not go unappreciated.
