To bring diverse voices into journalism by strengthening the civic literacy, writing skills and college-readiness of Minnesota teens.
ThreeSixty Journalism is a teen journalism program of the University of St. Thomas that brings diverse voices into journalsim and related professions by using intense, personal instruction to stregthen the civic literacy, writing skills and college-readiness of Minnesota teens.
Your gift allows us to serve more than 150 Minnesota high school students each year via summer camps, after-school classes and school partnerships.
Teens work is published at www.threesixtyjournalism.org and in a quarterly magazine distributed to more than 200 Minnesota high schools, public libraries and youth organizations.
Between now and the end of 2012, we hope to raise gifts and pledges of $150,000 a year for each of the next three years.
That amount will fund our core programs and enable staff to focus more time developing programs and less raising money to ensure the program’s survival.
Through Oct. 17, gifts and pledges of $1,000 or more will be matched by St. Thomas trustees for up to five years.
