We are committed to facilitating positive change in the global community by reaching out to fellow students in need. We are a group of students who were inspired by Three Cups of Tea. The best-selling book chronicles the efforts of Greg Mortenson, a man who has spent the last 15 years building schools for underprivileged children in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Now we want to help. Our goal is to raise $12,000 for the Central Asia Institute, the non-profit organization that Mortenson founded. This is the estimated cost to build one school overseas. With your help and the help of others in our community, we hope to make a difference in the world.
