The White House Project -MN Leadership Circle Supporting Women's Leadership
A fundraiser supporting The White House Project
As many of you know, I have spent the last five years volunteering for The White House Project (THWP) and I have been passionate about their work every day since I have met them.
I have attended every Go Run! training in the state of MN - both as a participant and a dedicated volunteer; I have been to New York City twice to volunteer and support the EPIC (Enhancing Perceptions in Culture) awards; and I have had the privilege of working with some of the most talented women dedicated to advancing leadership for women in all facets of life. Earlier this year, I became one of the Founding Members of their Leadership Circle and have pledged to raise/donate $1000 - this is in addition to the 312 hours of service I have given to the organization since 2005 (and 2009 isn't over yet)!
Together we can do so much more than we can alone, so instead of simply writing a check to TWHP, I am contacting my network of strong women who inspire me every day and ask for help.
I know you all do a lot for our communities and for that, I am grateful. In addition to all that you do, I would like to ask you to please consider making a donation for the future of women’s leadership today. I will match donations made by my network up to a total of $1000 - so whether is it $5.00 or $500, I appreciate your support.
Thank you for being a part of my life and for supporting this important organization!

The White House Project is a 501 (c)(3) and aims to advance women’s leadership in all communities and sectors—up to the U.S. presidency—by filling the leadership pipeline with a richly diverse, critical mass of women. Minnesota has been the vital center of THWP's political and leadership programming since its inception in 2004. They have opened the door to leadership training and civic leadership for a richly diverse group of over 1,500 women in Minnesota by filling the pipeline to community and political leadership with some of the most underrepresented citizens in the state. Not only do THWP's programs teach specific skills and strategies. Women leave inspired, with a powerful network of support, and a new confidence.
