This grassroots initiative is led by the Syrian American Council (formerly Syrian American Congress) (SAC)

In times of confusion and difficulty, they look for moments of hope. As Syria is engulfed by instability, it is the children that feel a certain type of pain. Help us bring moments of hope, memories of love and joy to the children of Syria this Christmas.

You Are Needed To Bring Christmas to Syria's Displaced Christian Children

Last Christmas violence had not racked the entire nation of Syria as it does now. Today, over 45,000 people have lost their lives, entire cities have been reduced to rubbel, millions suffer internal displacement, and just under half a million Syrians live in refugee camps outside of the country.

The violence has claimed the lives of over 4,000 children.

Donate today to make sure the cherished tradition of Chritmas is not lost for the thousands of children suffering throughout Syria.

Where Your Contribution Will Go

Contributions will be used to purchase gifts such as toys, coats, blankets, and shoes for Syria's Christian children. A portion of the funds collected will go to supplying the child's family with food for the week of Christmas. All purchased gifts will be distributed to Churches and Christian communities in Syria.

Who will donated funds be distributed to?

The Syrian Sunrise Foundation (SSF).SSF is a non-profit organization which looks to support the Syrian people in humanitarian and medical relief efforts throughout Syria. They look to: (1) Provide for the people of Syria who are in desperate need of immediate humanitarian aid, (2) Promote social and economic opportunity in Syria through humanitarian relief efforts, (3) Operates independent of any political, religious, or military agenda.
