Honoring the Fallen, Remembering the Survivors
On May 10, 2010, I along with over 200 other police officers from around the country will travel 250 miles on our bicycles. We will travel from Chesapeake, Virginia to Washington, D.C. to participate in National Peace Officer Memorial Day services.
It is our mission to honor the service and sacrifice of all law enforcement officers that have died in the line of duty.
We support the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and their mission to provide resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
We also pledge our support to the Officer Down Memorial Page (O.D.M.P.) and their efforts to provide a lasting tribute to each of these officers by preserving their memories within its pages.
Each participating officer must raise a minimum of $1,250.00. The proceeds Law Enforcement United donates to Concerns of Police Survivors will go towards the C.O.P.S. Kids camps for children of fallen officers.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you consider making a donation. If you have any further questions or need further information, please feel free to contact me at stephen.jamie@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Jamie Stephen
