Leave a lasting legacy that will make a difference right here at home.
Throughout the ages, rivers have provided life-giving resources and energy, brought people together and opened new vistas. Sleepless and forbearing, they carve and mold the communities they nurture.
The River of Life sculpture along Glencoe Regional Health Services’ main entrance hall is a meaningful symbol of an ongoing commitment to caring for this community. Its graceful flow of waves, river rushes and rocks represent the continual force that unites us with our past and grows with our future.
The sculpture recognizes benefactors of the Friends of GRHS Foundation. The Foundation was created to provide financial support to Glencoe Regional Health Services, establish a health care scholarship program and support health care initiatives in the region.
Donor gifts of $1,000 to $4,999 are recognized with a silver plate on a wave; $5,000 to $9,999 donors are honored with a brass plate on a wave; $10,000 to $24,999 donors are acknowledged on a river rush, and names of $25,000 or greater donors are engraved on a rock.
A contribution or memorial to the River of Life is a wonderful legacy. Your gift will help us provide financial support to students, as well as help Glencoe Regional Health Services find new avenues of service during times of prosperity and continue its mission even in times of economic uncertainty.
