I recently finished my first year of law school and am currently a legal intern at Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE). At CAASE, we work to end sexual exploitation through education, policy reform and legal advocacy. CAASE is working towards creating a world where people are free from sexual assault and the enslavement of prostitution and trafficking. I hope to take the experiences and knowledge that I gain at CAASE with me throughout my legal career in which I plan on focusing on the intersection of women's rights, gender violence and immigration. I will be running the Chicago Half Marathon in raise money for and awareness of these important issues and I hope you will support me in that effort.
