The Northeast Community Band

We gather Thursday nights during the school year, adults and teens, to play marches, show tunes and other classic selections for wind band. We practice from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Northeast Middle School in Minneapolis and perform several concerts from September through June.

Most members have renewed their passion after a hiatus of several years, and some have recently taken up playing as adults. There are no auditions. Though student musicians should consult with our Director. Dues are $60 annually for adults and you can pay as you go, within reason. We offer a three-rehearsal “trial period” at no cost. Junior high and high school students are free.
