The Jerusalem College of Engineering (JCE)

JCE's mission:

• To empower young people in the Jerusalem area by providing access to higher education and a high level of engineering instruction and training

• To nurture a sense of social responsibility and community involvement within our students

Founded in 1999, the Jerusalem College of Engineering (JCE) was established following a government decision to open a college that would train engineers in Jerusalem. This decision was based on the belief that Jerusalem’s economic future depended upon its ability to educate highly-trained professionals in the field of technology. JCE is the only institute of higher education in Jerusalem, which purely focuses on engineering.

JCE provides its students with a first-class education and cutting-edge training that allows them to easily integrate into the workforce as engineers. It provides them with 4-year B.Sc. degrees. JCE partners with high-tech companies, such as TEVA and Intel, as well as renowned institutes of higher education, such as the Technion, and JCE’s Executive and Academic Committees are comprised of industry leaders.

JCE is committed to the ongoing development of the city of Jerusalem, helping both its people and its economy. As JCE continues to grow, it attracts new students to the city and also provides a solution to those interested in engineering who would like to stay in the city. In addition to turning talent into human capital that will enhance the city’s workforce, JCE is involved in the community on several levels primarily by inculcuating its students with a sense of social reponsibility.
