The mission of the CSRA Community Foundation, Inc. is to encourage and promote philanthropy through education, responsible management of charitable contributions and the distribution of these funds, and to provide the structure for this to be accomplished by individuals, companies and organizations.
The mission of the CSRA Community Foundation, Inc. is to encourage and promote philanthropy through education, responsible management of charitable contributions and the distribution of these funds, and to provide the structure for this to be accomplished by individuals, companies and organizations.
Through the Foundation, donors can create a personal philanthropic fund suited to their specific needs and interests. Following are some of the fund options available at the Foundation. Unrestricted Funds, offering the broadest option and impact on the community; Donor Advised Funds allowing donors to make suggestions about charitable distributions; Field of Interest Funds supporting a broad area of concern such as the arts or the elderly; Designated Funds for specific eligible organizations; Scholarship Funds; Organization Endowment Funds; Administrative Funds; and Short Term Funds.Donors i.e., individuals corporations and organizations, are also encouragedto establish Endowment Funds to address their long term philanthropic goals.
