Sosan asking for support to attend Thich Nhat Hanh's retreat

Two years ago, Sosan and her family traveled to Colorado to attend a retreat led by Thich Nhat Hanh. The beloved teacher took ill and was unable to attend the retreat. Although the retreat was skillfully led by the community of monks and nuns, Sosan would like to have the chance to practice with Thich Nhat Hanh before he dies. Although his overall health is good, he is now 84 years old and may not be doing as much traveling in the future.

The cost for Sosan to attend this retreat is estimated at $400 ($335 for the retreat fee $65 for other travel and meal expenses). The retreat fee is low because she is using the camping option. The cost of her flight has been donated by an individual with Compassionate Ocean Dharma Center.
