At Common Cupboard,the Saturday before Thanksgiving we anticipate giving away 350 Thanksgiving dinners to our neighbors.

For those of us here at Common Cupboard, the Saturday before Thanksgiving is the biggest delivery day of the year. That is the day when we deliver a turkey with all the fixings to families that may not be able to provide their own Thanksgiving feast. Three years ago when we started we gave a way just over 100 Thanksgiving Baskets. Last year it was around 300. This year we are anticipating that we will serve 350 families.

    This is such a great cause. Imagine your Thanksgiving without a Turkey and all the fixin's. For the families we serve that is their reality... not their imagination.
