Thank you for supporting MPI!
A project of Manna Project International
Mission
Mission: To foster communities of young adults and encourage them to use their passions and education in service to communities in need.
Vision: To establish a global network of Manna Project communities where young adults live and work alongside one another in underserved communities to initiate positive change.
Programs
MPI’s two international sites are located in Managua, Nicaragua and Quito, Ecuador where teams of 8 to 12 yearlong volunteers called Program Directors (PDs) implement and grow a wide array of programs addressing community needs. Programs target communities in need and are designed to provide access to basic education, healthcare, recreational resources, and economic opportunity. MPI aims for a holistic approach to community development, meaning volunteers work with people of all ages and in various aspects of their lives.
Stateside campus chapters are another aspect of MPI’s outreach. Founded by and comprised of college students, chapters spread MPI’s core values at several U.S. universities. In addition to local service activities chapters raise poverty awareness through fundraising events and group trips to MPI’s international sites.
