We adopted Holly from Paws & Claws on Oct. 7, 2011 after losing Sophie -- our 3rd GSP in 30 years. I've always wanted a pit bull and when Holly showed up on the adoption page, I fell in love with her cute face, but she still had to gain Rick's approval. We went to see her and she charmed us with her beauty, fun-loving nature and all-around sweetness, and the rest is history! We went through beginning & intermediate obedience classes at PetSmart and found that she's quite smart & eager to please (& loves treats!) I wish we had gone the adoption route years ago....never truly realized how many dogs are out there needing good homes -- especially the bully breeds.
