Taste of the NFL 20 in 20

Taste of the NFL Founder, Wayne Kostroski, is the 2010 recipient of the James Beard Humanitarian of the Year Award. To honor his relentless efforts to kick hunger for the past 30 years, the Taste of the NFL team wants to show their support by generating 20,000 donations in 20 days (not to mention it happens to be the start of our 20th year!).

The Hunger Issue. As you read this, millions of people in America are struggling with hunger. In fact, 1 out of every 6 people in our country face this serious issue - many of them are children. For 20 years, Taste of the NFL has been working to kick hunger. While we're proud to report that we've raised more than $10 million during that time, we're saddened to report that the need to do more is bigger than ever. We hope you'll support our efforts by making a contribution.

What is Taste of the NFL? Since 1992, the Taste of the NFL has rallied the country's top chefs and the NFL's greatest to raise money in support of the food banks throughout the United States. The efforts culminate at the Super Bowl with The Party with a Purpose. Held on the eve of the Super Bowl, this event is a unique way to experience exceptional cuisine, meet NFL players and coaches and support our fight against hunger. Through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers who help make Taste of the NFL the single most successful charitable event at the Super Bowl, Taste of the NFL continues to help feed 37 million Americans. Millions of needs, thousand of families and dozens of new hunger projects have been affected by this major volunteer effort. Our goal: end hunger.
