Tamara Kisieleski Raising Funds For Ovarian Cancer
Tamara Kisieleski fundraising for OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH FUND INC
I will be participating in the SheRox Webster Triathlon In Webster, MA September 25, 2011 at 8am to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research.
OCRF is the largest private philanthropy in the U.S., dedicated exclusively to funding ovarian cancer research. OCRF’s mission is to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. Each year, 200,000 women are diagnosed worldwide with ovarian cancer and 125,000 die from this disease. In the U.S., ovarian cancer accounts for more deaths than all other gynecologic cancers combined and is the 5th leading cause of cancer death among women. If detected and treated early, the five-year survival rate increases from 45% to greater than 92%, but there is currently no effective means of early detection.
I have been blessed to be relatively healthy. Last year with help from my friends and family I got my lazy self in motion and started to swim, bike and run. I am doing the SheRox Triathlon to support the women who have been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. I ask for your support in sponsoring all my events. I have a full 2011 calendar of events and would like to see you at them. Check out my events on facebook.
