El Taco - finally making it's official appearance on Razoo, the taco has stated that it is ready for the marathon.

Wow - what a marathon!! Finished in 3:24 & the taco had so much support! Thanks everyone! Still time to sponsor: Girls On The Run of Hawaii

Girls On The Run of Hawaii is a program designed to build self-esteem & confidence in girls, via running - simple! I would like to raise funds to help the newly formed NGO get 'up and running', and any amount of sponsorship will help. A few figures to bare in mind are: $25 pays for a game box for a GOTR site; $50 pays for a pair of shoes for one girl; $100 pays for a scholarship for one girl in need; $500 pays for a GOTR site.

Why am I doing this? Good question... Well I like a challenge, and I also see this as a way of 'passing the baton'. I started running when I was 11, but without the people who volunteered to coach the team I was part of, and drove us to cross-country meets, the opportunity to travel, meet people and learn about the world would never have happened. I see this as a chance to raise some funds for an awesome organisation who will create awesome opporunities.

"Girls on the Run of Hawaii inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running - envisioning a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams."

Sounds pretty good to me!
