**WISH GRANTED** SW8 - Peaceful Schools Anti-bullying Program

Bell school continues to search for helpful ways to address and solve mean and/or bullying behaviors. Last year’s funds were used to pay for Ms. Marcia McEvoy to present to students, parents and teachers about mean behavior. The funds are also being used toward a research-based in-class interactive program to promote social, emotional, and academic growth for children in grades K-5. The topics covered are age appropriate and build upon one another over the years. Examples of the topics include: listening, making friends, empathy, managing strong feelings, and problem solving. Bell teachers are hoping to buy more kits for each grade to use next year.
