Help the Tigers' Get to the Street Soccer USA National Tournament!
Sarah Morse fundraising for A-SPAN
The Arlington Tigers are headed to New York City to compete in the Street Soccer USA Tournament!
The Arlington Tigers were founded in 2011 by A-SPAN client Ken Belkosky, and Sarah Morse, A-SPAN's Manager of Volunteer Programs. Street Soccer USA is a national program whose mission is to end homelessness through the use of “sports for social change.” Players and teams of Street Soccer USA show great success in setting and achieving their goals to end homelessness: up to 75% of players obtain housing within the first year of playing on a Street Soccer team. This is the first time the SSUSA National Tournament isn't in DC, so we need to raise funds to help get our players to NYC for the weekend. We're taking the bus and doing our best to keep our expenses low, but we still need about $1,000 for the weekend. Please consider donating and sharing our cause with your friends!
