Partners in Care volunteers provide about 175 rides per week to seniors who need help getting to medical appointments or running errands. The driver picks up the senior at their front door, helps them into the car, takes them where they need to go, waits with them, and then takes them safely home again. Without this help, many of these seniors would be completely home-bound.

“My mother made me promise I would never put her in a nursing home, but she was in very poor health and couldn’t get around very well. Since my wife and I were both working full-time, it was really difficult to take care of all of her needs. The wonderful folks at Partners In Care insulated my mother’s rickety old townhouse to cut heating costs, painted the walls, and gave her a large container filled with emergency supplies.
