Support Mike's Efforts to Rebuild New Orleans!

As an alternative approach to our week long spring vacation, a group of students from the Greater Lafayette area and I have decided to spend a week as servants to fellow Americans in need. While the images of destruction and devestation caused by Hurricane Katrina have all but faded in most people's memories, that damage is still very much a part of daily life for the citizens of St. Bernard Parish, just outside of New Orleans. During our week in the Bayou, our group will be repairing, rebuilding, and replenishing the 9th Ward area and its citizens who have endured so much since the hurricane occured. The more progress we make, the sooner residents of the area can finally come home to New Orleans, for good. All funds raised will go directly towards our rebuilding efforts, travel, food, and lodging. THANK YOU so very much for your interest in our cause, and we GREATLY APPRECIATE any donations!!
