United Way alternative spring break gives students like me an opportunity to spend my spring break making a difference.

Hey Everyone!

As some of you know, and for those that don't, I'm attempting to go to New Orleans this March as part of United Way's Alternative Spring Break. In short, students like myself are giving up their spring breaks to help rebuild parts of New Orleans that still suffer from Katrina, and we can't do it without your help.

I'm putting on my tool belt and teaming up with United Way to make a difference in the Gulf Coast. We will be working in St. Bernard Parish for the entire week, helping rebuild the homes that were destroyed and giving back to those that truly need it.

I would appreciate all the support you could offer, even if it's just a $1 donation, or forwarding this page to your friends that would be interested in helping. As most of you know, I don't usually ask for much, if anything at all, but this time I'm asking for your help. Not for me, but for the people of St. Bernard Parish that I'll be helping give a new home this Spring Break.
