Students of MTW display social, emotional skills and anger management strategies they've developed this fall during our program...

Move This World is an innovative, global nonprofit that uses movement to inspire young people to be leaders and peacemakers in their communities. The curriculum is a movement-based peace education program that promotes tolerance, understanding, mediation skills, anger management, and emotional and civic engagement. Through exercises and activities utilizing movement, music, emotions, experiences, and thoughts, students are able to learn emotional and social competencies for peace.

Participants in the Move This World program are empowered to feel confidence and a sense of global awareness as change-agents within their schools and neighborhoods. The Move This World curriculum transcends countries, socioeconomic differences, and varying languages and cultures; it is being adapted and implemented in diverse communities and in unique contexts. We are connecting our communities of dance across the globe in order to share best practices and intercultural stories of peacebuilding.

Please help give our students in Washington, DC; New York City; Nepal; and Bogota, Colombia the opportunity to strut their stuff and shine for their communities. These students are our ambassadors of peace, expressing conflict resolution in a way that is creative, dynamic, physical and fun.

Support their performances, their triumphs and their continued success. Let's Move This World!
