Support Anchor Bowl 2012

Delta Gamma Family and Friends's fundraiser for DELTA GAMMA FOUNDATION

fundraiser

The Beta Rho Chapter of Delta Gamma is fundraising for its annual philanthropy event, Anchor Bowl, supporting Service for Sight!

The Beta Rho Chapter of Delta Gamma at The George Washington University is planning a major fundraiser to benefit out national philanthropy: Sight Preservation and Service to Those Who are Visually Impaired or Blind. We will be holding our 10th annual Anchor Bowl on Sunday April 29th, 2012 on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Anchor Bowl is a weeklong event consisting of bake sales, penny wars, banner competitions, skit night, and finally, an inter-fraternity football tournament. It is one of the most popular and well-attended events on GWU’s campus.

More than 110 chapters across the United States and Canada sponsored these competitions last year, enabling the Delta Gamma Foundation to give over $500,000 in grants locally and nationally to over 120 organizations that share our mission. Last year, the Beta Rho chapter raised $16,000 of that total, and in 2012 we aim to increase our donations by $3,000 to a total of $20,000.

However, our success depends only on the generosity of our sponsors, and we are asking for yoursupport! The Beta Rho Chapter and the Delta Gamma Foundation would appreciate a donation of any amount.

Please help the GWU Delta Gammas make a difference for our international philanthropy. We would be proud to add your businesses’ name to our list of donors who feel that our Delta Gamma Anchor Bowl is a worthy cause to support.
