Strides for Kids 2011

Who: YOU!

What: Strides for Kids 2011 is a 5k walk/run (your pick!) fund raiser for the House of Blue Hope Founation. There will be food, refreshments, a silent auction and raffle in addition to the walk/run. Participants are encouraged to raise funds through sponsorships - those who raise the most will be awarded prizes! Please email jriedi@houseofbluehope.org to set up your sponsorship webpage and/or receive a sponsorship pledge form.

Where: Whitnall Park (5879 S. 92 Street, Hales Corners, WI)

When: Saturday, June 4 starting at 10am

Why: House of Blue Hope pulls kids off the streets and puts them into a safe living and learning environment. With such access to one of the top schools in the country, the current and future residents of the House of Blue Hope will be provided with top-notch educational opportunities in a country in which only about 12% of the population receives a secondary education.

Furthermore, the facility has become a large part of the local high school’s community service program, as well as a catalyst to keep alumni involved and connected after graduation. Learn more at www.houesofbluehope.org!
