* Support our unique and strong civility-based discussion model that encourages community agenda-setting, government and media accountability, and the capacity of neighbors to solve problems and work together for the benefit of their community.

* Improve the 24 x 7 professional support and training we provide to forum participants and our dedicated volunteers.

* Share our lessons openly and widely and help new communities get started with the effective Issue Forum model.

* Host forums in an independent, neutral manner using ever improving open source technology not reliant on advertising based technologies or less desirable privacy or copyright practices.
