Stephanie Loneck's Boston Marathon Fundraising
Stephanie Loneck fundraising for Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester
Each donation will benefit children in education, athletic, and social recreation programs, as well as support and guidance for youth.
My name is Stephanie Loneck, and I am a current Bostonian preparing for the Marathon on April 16th, 2012. Although I am originally from Upstate New York, my time here over the years has made me fall in love with all things Beantown.
I am a student at Northeastern University studying to become a secondary education mathematics teacher in the Boston area following graduation. Much of my experience at Northeastern has revolved around working with students in the community, and helping those that face disadvantages that make it difficult to receive a quality education. My work with organizations such as Math*STARS afterschool at the Boys and Girls Club of Roxbury has given me the determination to make a difference in a child's education, as well as provide support through advisement, encouragement, and academic guidance. My dream of making a difference in the classroom starts with the community, and giving back to those that inspire me to work with youth. For this reason, I ask for your help in donating to the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester Team this year for the Boston Marathon, and making a difference in a child's life.
